EHR Certificate Program
In the near future, as a result of an initiative by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) all medical files in the U.S. will be created and stored electronically. The Office of the National Coordinator, which is part of the U.S. DHHS, divided the country into 5 regions for the purpose of developing a workforce of trained Health IT professionals.
Passaic County Community College is a community college consortium member offering Certificates of Achievement in:
1. Implementation and Software/Technical Support Specialist (hybrid)
2. Workflow Redesign and Information Management Specialist (on-line;proctor testing)
3. Trainer (on-line;proctor testing)
